Dhaka University (D.U.) has selected a date for the admission test for the institute of business administration university of Dhaka course for the 2021-2022 academic year. According to the circular, the online application process will begin on May 21 and end on June 11, 2022. An admission test will be held on June 24 from 10 am to 12 pm.

Dhaka University IBA Admission requirements
- No matter which group you study from (Science / Arts / Commerce), H.S.C. (Alim in Madrasa Board of Education) will be able to take part in admission tests in I.B.A. Bangla Medium, English Medium, Madrasa – there is no difference; everyone will be able to take the test.
- Students who passed the S.S.C. or equivalent examination in 2016-19 and H.S.C. or equivalent in 2021 can apply. The total G.P.A. in S.S.C. or equivalent and H.S.C. or equivalent examinations should be 7.5. However, both in the exam, the students must have 3.5 points separately.
- Students who passed IGCSE or ‘O’ level and I.A.L. or G.C.E., ‘A’ level examinations between 2016 and 2019 can apply. Both the exams should have a ‘B’ grade in at least 4 subjects and a ‘C’ grade in at least 3 subjects. However, a ‘D’ grade is not acceptable in any subject.
- If a student has participated in any D.U. or I.B.A. admission test in 2021 or earlier, he will not be able to take part in this year’s admission test.

Question Pattern of IBA
The IBA Dhaka university admission test will be conducted in two stages: Writing and viva. Candidates who pass the written test can participate in the oral examination. The written test is in two stages. MCQ and written.
M.C.Q. Test time 90 minutes. It consists of three parts – English (30 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), and Analytical (15 marks).
Pass Marks
You must pass each English, Mathematics, and Analytical part separately. Even if you get full marks in most parts, you will be disqualified for admission if you fail in any part.
Pass marks may vary yearly or depend on how difficult or easy the question is. But according to the conventional rules Passing marks is 60% in each part.

A foreign national may not be required to take the Written Test if they score at least 1265 out of 1600 on the S.A.T. Reasoning Test (with a minimum score of 600 on the Critical Reading and Maths sections and a minimum score of 575 on the Writing section).
